Joint Security Forces Hold Crisis Meeting over ADF Terror Alerts
The Commander for Uganda Land Forces Lt Gen. Kayanja Muhanga has chaired a crisis meeting over the Allied Democratic Forces ADF rebels.
Lt Gen Muhanga said people should not connect ADF Terrorists attacks to the coming of Rwenzururu King His majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma.
While addressing security meeting in Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council near DRC-Uanda Boarder in Kasese district Lt Gen. Muhanga said the reminants of ADF rebels are coming to Kasese district after the joint forces of UPDF and DRC Forces FARDC have mounted a lot of pressure.
The commander Operation Shujja of joint forces of UPDF and FARDC Maj.Gen.Dick Olum asked members of the community to always quickly report any suspicious people in the community.
Comander CMI Maj Gen. James Birungi tipped on the community on the quickest means of fighting ADF Rebels.
Deputy Prime Minister of Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Hon. Edwin Kugonza re-assured security officers in the country that the Rwenzururu king His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma has started campaign of Rebranding the king under five pillars of Peace,Reconciliation.social economic transformation and Mindset change.
He has also asked President Museveni to put last solution on controversies in Mpondwe Lhubiriha market that has rised many issues.
The Chairperson Kasese district Mr. Eriphaz Muhindi called for deployment of security officers at all sub county and town council headquarters for quick response to any suspicious ADF Rebel.
One of the local community member who attended the meeting Ms Jetress Kabugho said the conduct of traffic officers getting money from drivers along the highway without checking the passengers is also possing high risk of infiltration of ADF Rebels in the area.
