M7 Reshuffles RDC Muhoozi Over Land Disputes
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who also doubles as the appointing Authority has reshuffled the Resident District Commissioner for Makindye Ssabagabo Muhoozi Michael after receiving intelligence reports that he has been involved in land related issues, Spyreports has exclusively learnt.
Muhoozi who has been taken to Nakaseke as his issues are under investigations has been replaced by Cadre Mawerere Peter Simon who was from Kayunga District. Insiders from President's office which controls all RDCs told us that several reports that were compiled by several security teams pin RDC Muhoozi for being behind most of land conflicts in Makindye. "Most reports from security officials link Mr Muhoozi to be involved in land wrangles which is very wrong and tarnishes the image of the President," Says one of top officials from State House.
The source says even some police officers had earlier complained that RDC kills of the land cases which are always investigated by police because he always has interest. Another source from State House added that some individuals had complained how RDC liaises with land grabbers commonly known as Bafere to obtain land illegally.
Recently some media reported how RDC and Uganda's Ambassador to France Mr Frankline Katungwesi were invloved in grabbing the land that belongs to Mr Mugabi Francis.
However some sources from his office told us that RDC Muhoozi did not officially hand over office to his successor as he was instructed from his bosses. "When he knew that he was transferred, he just left keys to his secretary and went away," Says one if the staffs at his office.
