M7 Reshuffles UPDF Generals, Brig.Karemire Bounces Back
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who also doubles as the Commander In Chief (CIC) of armed forces has reshuffled top UPDF Generals,Spyreports has learnt.
The reshuffle comes after one day, he promoted over 300 officers from various ranks.
Recently, we published a story how reshuffle was rooming in UPDF circles and how several Generals were working in total panic and fear.
According to the list which we obtained a copy the following UPDF Generals have been affected and they Include, Brig.Richard Karemire who has been serving as Defence attaché in Arusha Tanzania has been appointed as Chief of Education,Sports and Culture.
Brig. Karemire before heading to Arusha served as the UPDF Spokesperson who built the good image and relationship between the UPDF and Civilian population.
Others who were also reshuffled are Brig.Charles Bakahumura from Chieftaincy of Engineering and Logistics (CLO) to Turkey as Defence attaché, Brig.Mathew Gurema from Chieftaincy of training to Arusha in Tanzania as Defence attaché.
Maj.Gen Rwakitarate has been appointed as Commander Vital Assets, Brig Kaija has been taken to Operation Wealth Creation, Brig Bosa has been appointed as Commandant Singo training school, Brig Omollo appointed as the Commander URDCC, Brig Kanyesigye who is currently in Beni in Congo has been appointed as Commandant of Jinja Barracks.
Brig Karara appointed as Deputy Director Chieftaincy of production and welfare, Brig Mbonye has been appointed as Director Human Resource in Uganda police replacing Brig.Jessy Kamunanwire who is set to retire in April, Brig Omara has been appointed as Commandant of Kaweweta Training school based in Nakaseke,
In other resuffles, Brig.Ruhesi taken to Nakasongora training school, Brig.Nambale appointed commandant of Kabamba training school in Mubende,Col Rutayinama from Jinja to Rubongi and Col Ahimbisibwe has been appoint Director of Policy (DCP).
According to the message all affected officers must hand over their offices and report to their new places of deployment.
