Man Arrested over Impersonating as a Police Officer.

Police in Semuto have in custody a suspect on charges of impersonation. The suspect is identified as Atwiine Allan a 33yrs old man, Munyankole by tribe and a resident of Busabala zone, Makindye Division Kampala District.

According to information from Police, on the 01/09/23 at around 3:30pm, the suspect Atwiine Allan came to the Traffic check Point in Kikondo Zone Semuto Town council Nakaseke District. He started impersonating as apolice officer claiming  that he is a Superintendent of Police (SP) attached to Katwe Division Kampala Metropolitan.

The OC Traffic Semuto police, No.43915 Sgt Mugerwa Expedito however became inquisitive and started interrogating him and upon serious interrogation, Atwiine Allan denied to be a police officer.

The suspect was arrested and detained in police custody and a case of impersonation registered at Semuto sd ref;24/01/09/23.
