Man Killed after Bar Fight with a Friend

Police in Nakasongola district hunting for a one Kanobona Frank for the alleged murder of a friend which occurred on Tuesday 24/10/12023 at around 04:00pm at Nakasongola Health Center IV Nakasongola District. The deceased has been identified as Twijukye Dan aged 47years old a Mukiga by tribe, casual worker and a resident of Wabigalo village, Wabinyonyi subcounty in Nakasongola district and a born of Nyarugano village Nyakishenyi Subcounty in Rukungiri district.

It's alleged that the deceased Twizukye Dan on 10/10/2023 at 09:00pm, fought with Kanobona Frank in a local bar in Wampiti trading center, he was injured on the head with a stick, on 11/10/2023, he reported the case of assault at Nakasongola Police Station, he was issued with PF3, examined and retrieved, he went for treatment and later went back home.

On 22/10/2023, his condition worsened and was taken back to Nakasongola Health Center IV for treatment, he was admitted at the facility on 23/10/2023 from where he was pronounced dead on 24/10/2023, and Police was notified by one Bampata aged 35 years old a Mukiga, a peasant and resident of the above address. They responded immediately to scene visited and documented it by soco, a case of murder registered statements were recorded and the  body conveyed to mortuary for postmortem examination. 
"The hunt for the suspect is on going as more inquiries are still at hand," says ASP Sam TwiineAmazima.
