Massive Resignation Rocks Trade Ministry Over Roughness, Arrogance Of PS Ssali.

The shocking news which has reached over news desk indicate that there is a terrible and massive resignation of experienced and senior staffs at the Ministry of Trade,Industry and Cooperatives due to unbearable and harsh conditions from the under fire PS Geraldine Ssali, Spyreports has established.

According to credible information which we have established from Farmers house show more than 10 experienced and senior staffs at the level of Commissioners have tendered in their early retirement letters to public service requesting to the leave the Ministry.

Sources say the senior officers have vowed to leave their work due to arrogance, roughness and abusive language that the PS Ssali applies on them. Some of the senior staffs who are soon leaving include Mutahunga Emmanuel who is a senior trade officer.

 "This Man has been so good in terms of negotiations on international level but due to unbearable behaviors of the PS, he has decided to throw in a towel," Says a senior Commissioner at the Ministry.

Another inside source says Madam Pamela who has been very knowledgeable when it comes to cooperatives has asked for early retirement accusing PS of using abusive language while at work.

 Others who are on the list of vacating the Ministry are Juliet Kagona, Walakira Godffery who is an expert in trade and research, Julius Kasirye a project manager and internal Trade officer. Sources at Trade Ministry say apart from being abusive, rough the senior staffs accuse the PS for undermining them with their juniors.

 "Can you imagine the PS uses our junior to review our work.This has never happened any where in Uganda," An aggrieved Commissioner tells us saying PS takes the Ministry as her family.

 Insiders also say the PS has forced almost all workers at the Ministry to call her the title 'Maama'.

"If you go to her office and you don't address her as Maama, you will regret why you went there. 

She can't give you any attention but only abuses until you apologise and call her Maama," Says another senior staff at Farmers house. Another close friend to Maama PS says she fired the PRO Irene Kiiza for not calling her Maama and not defending her wrongs.

"Irene Kiiza was a very good PRO but she could give a genuine comment to the press and this annoyed the PS and she later fired her," another officer says adding that at the moment the Ministry had no Public Relations officer and that is why the mess is surrounding it.

"She is now the problem at the Ministry and can not defend her self so she uses the Human resource to do the damage caused by her and the HR can not handle like PRO," Another senior officer says.
