Museveni Orders IGP Byakagaba To Deploy 13 Police Officers At Every Subcounty

Museveni orders IGP Abbas Byakagaba to Deploy 13 Police officers at every Subcounty. President Museveni who also doubles as the commander of armed forces has ordered the newly appointed inspector General of Police Abbas Byakagaba to Deploy 13 Police officers at every Subcounty across the country. Museveni added that all the deployed police officers MUST be with motorcycles so that they can curb crime in their respective areas of operations. "Deploy 13 Police officers at every Subcounty in the country and equip them with motorcycles and other requirements," Museveni orders IGP Abbas Byakagaba.

Museveni made the remarks in Gomba district where Heroes day celebrations took place. Museveni added that Sub counties have been made small by splitting them saying that 13 Police officers will manage crime in every Sub county.

President Museveni, in the company of the Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, the Deputy CDF, the IGP, and other dignitaries, has wreath at the mass gravesite where the remains of over 100 individuals killed during the guerrilla war were buried before Joining the nation for the Heroes Day celebrations at Mpenja Church of Uganda Playground in Gomba district.

On this occasion, the Minister of State for Information, Communications and Technology Hon Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawowas awarded Distinguished Order of the Crested Crane second class by Presiden. 

The president has also noted that land eviction is illegal in Uganda. He added that the NRM caucus is to pass aresolution to allow Bibanja holders to deposit rent at the subcounty accounts in case the landland lords have refused receive them.
