Gen Muhoozi Appoints Minister Ruth Aceng As PLU Coordinator Lango Sub-Region

The National chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba who also doubles as the Commander of Defence Forces (CDF) of the Uaganda Peoples' Defence Forces (UPDF) has appointed the minister of Healh Dr Jane Ruth Aceng who hails from the NRM the Coordinator Lango Sub Region as the General prepares to anticipate Presidential general elections come 2026. The recent Appointments were announced by PLU Secretary General and member of Parliament for Kasambya County Hon David Kabanda.

Hon Tonny Ayo has been appointed the Assistant coordinator for the same sburegion while Joel Maki Omara is the secretary.

Others are: Emmanuel Oyite as the publicity, Dr Lakisa Mercy yputh council representative, Hon Olobo James Dubai elderly representative, Her Worship Alwedo Rebecca Ogole PWD Council representative and Adia Rebecca Moro Women Council Representative.

Dr Jane Ruth Aceng has welcomed the appointment nd commended the appointing authority for the trust and confidentce to her hwer coordinate the subregion.

''I comprehend the importance of this role, and will diligently ensure that the team coordinates PLU's activities with harmony and unity in Lango and Uganda at large at the core of our efforts''.She added .
