Police Boss Shot Dead By His Junior After A Small Quarrel

Police in Tororo are investigating circumstances under which a junior officer shot dead his boss.The deceased has been identified as IP OKWELE MOSES the officer in charge of Petta police post Petta sub county in Tororo district.

preliminary investigations indicate that the suspecthas been identified as NO.23882 Sgt Ochom William Francis attached to the same police post of Petta police

According to police, the incident happened after Ochom having a small quarrel with his boss and lost his temper which resulted into shooting Okwele four times in the stomach.

The suspect was admitted to Tororo General hospital after sustaining wounds on the legs as the body conveyed to Tororo main hospital for postmortem.

Tororo district CID  D/SP Batumwa Charles comfired the incident adding that inquiries into the matter are still ongoing.
