Police Dismiss Reports On Dropping Traffic Police Boss Nuwabiine.

The Uganda Police Force has today  clarified that the Director of Traffic and Road Safety SCP Lawrence Nuwabiine has never been dropped from his position remains contrary to false information circulating on social media.

Police spokesperson Kituuna Rusoke has noted that, all official appointments, transfers, and personnel matters are communicated through police authorized channels. 

This followed reports from various media platforms that Traffic boss Nuwabiine was replaced with SCP Franklin Kugonza who has at the police Mechanic workshop.

In December 2022 Nuwabiine was sworn-in as Director Traffic and Road Safety
