Police Foil Bomb Explosions after Intercepting  Explosive Materials in Mutukula.

Police and other security agencies last week foiled what would have been a bomb explosion at  Mutukula boarder point after intercepting explosive materials in a chapt stall in Mutukula taxi park that were to be used in bombing.

Police spokesperson Fred  Enanga while speaking to journalists at police headquarters in Naguru said that the explosive materials were intercepted in a chappat stall in a taxi parker owned by a one Tumwebaze Babara who is already in their custody.

"Following our intensive patrolling and surveillance that was conducted on 9th last weekend, we managed to find 160 pieces of water Jelly  explosive material from Tumwebaze's stall," says Enanga. Fred Enanga added that arrested Tumwebaze Babara couldn't account for the explosive materials and that she told police that there is a boda boda man who brought them and  asked her to keep for him. "It's very dangerous for someone to keep anything for another person especially when it is either covered or inside the bag,"adds Enanga.

The police mouthpiece also said that arrested Tumwebaze Babara is now in a big problem because she was found with Bomb explosive materials adding that she might not be behind those explosives but because she was used by wrong element. Enanga added that investigations are still ongoing to establish the whole motive of these wrong elements and to ensure that they are all brought to book.
