Police & Public Service Drivers Arrested over Reckless Driving

Traffic Police have arrested 2 drivers in government vehicles for driving recklessly along Ntinda Stretcher Road.

Information from Police indicates that on the 18-9-23, a whistleblower cited and captured the drivers of motor vehicle Registration Number, UG 0120Q a Toyota Hilux driven by Bukenya Steven and motor vehicle Registration Number, UP 4911 Toyota Land Cruiser driven by Sabiti Dan who drove recklessly along Ntinda Stretcher Road. 

Basing on the evidence in the shared video both Drivers were charged arrested and detained at Jinja Road police station vide Ref.TSD 16/19/09/23 and TSD 17/19/09/23 pending court. 

"We commend all the whistle blowers who take and share such videos and encourage them to continue doing the same until we witness Sanity on the Roads," said SP Kananura Michael PRO-Traffic Directorate and Road Safety.

"We also continue to warn all those errant drivers who make the roads impassable," Kananura added.
