Poverty Eradication Involves Production For Market Than Only Home Consumption- Pr Mbabazi Tells Kyegegwa Residents

Special, Presidential Mobiliser, On Poverty Eradication Programs, and Development, who is also the, National Coordinator for Team Thorough Ykm Kira House Uganda Pastor, Mbabazi Robert, has taken the gospel of poverty eradication to refugee camps starting with Kyakka refugee settlement camp in Kyegegwa district. 

while presiding over a function to commemorate 20 years of Gatumba GENOCIDE, Against the Banyamulenge, in Kyakka 2 Refugee Settlement Camp, in Kyegegwa District pastor Mbabazi emphasized mindset change among residents to desist from only producing for consumption but also join money economy.

 The Commemoration was aimed at strengthening togetherness, and paving ways of fostering development in the community. "Some Bursaries were givenout and ICT sponsorship were awarded to community members". Said Pr Mababazi.

 

 

Thousands, of residents gathered to celebrate the life of their relatives, who were killed, around the 1994 GENOCIDE at a service held at Mahanam Revival International Ministeries, (MARIM) in Nayoth village, Nayoth Parish, Kyakka 2, Kyegegwa District.

The Deputy Commander UPDF, in charge of the camp, Maj. Walugembe Joram, the officer in charge of the prime minister's office Maj. Alex Mwiine Rusika, Crime Intelligence officer, in charge of the camp, Julius Mbusazo, Area chairman, Mr. Kanyaruhuru Patrick. Religious, political, and cultural leaders, all graced the function. 

 Team Thorough, members accompanied their national Coordinator included,Mr. Nuwagaba Naris, Finance Controller. Haji Hamdan Chonga, Head of Security, Kanyesigye Inocent, Returnees Desk. Hajat, Senjala Rinah, coordinator Buganda. Mzee, Nshemerirwe, opinion leader, Omogol Joseph, coordinator Teso Region.

Others are, Eria Karuhegye and Kyenjejo Asaba Wilberforce.

You are nolonger refugees, and the souls of those died, may rest in eternal peace, they died for you, they died Martyr'dom. No revenge, but forgiveness. B'se God has his way, of doing things. Working for love, unity. Is the massage today, b'se, what is evendent here loving one another, respect for all leaders". Said, Pastor, Mbabazi Robert.
