Prof Ogeng Latigo Cheats Death in Road Accident

The former Leader of Opposition and Agago Constituency Representative, Professor Ogenga Latigo survived death in a car accident that occured on Saturday 30/09/2023 at approximately 11:58pm  at Lubenge swamp a long Gulu - Kampala highway in Luwero district.

The accident involved motor vehicles registration number, UBJ 070B Tata white in color belonging to Victoria sugar factory, with the driver still atlarge and UBG 961D Mercedes Benz silver in color driven by Prof. Ogenga Latigo former MP. agago constituency and leader of opposition in parliament.

Reports suggest that motor vehicle registration no UBJ 070B tata white in color loaded with sugar cane from Masindi to Luwero ran out of fuel and obstructed traffic from Gulu to Kampala, later on motor vehicle registration UBG 961D Mercedes Benz silver in color being driven by prof.Ogenga Latigo rammed into that stationery Tata truck who sustained minor injuries.

Upon police receiving the information they responded in time, "professor was rushed to St Caesar Lacor hospital for treatment where doctors are managing him well, scene of Crime visited, Sketch map drawn, both vehicles were towed to Kakoge police station parking yard pending IOV inspection examination, a case of serious accident registered, relevant statements were recorded and the hunt for the driver is on going," ASP TwiineAmazima Sam the PRO Savannah said.
