Requiem Mass to Honour Late Magistrate Aanyu is Underway
The Judiciary is holding a Requiem Mass for the Late Chief Magistrate Margaret Aanyu at St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church, Ntinda. The main celebrant of the service is Father Edward Muwanga.
The Judiciary will later on Thursday evening honour the late's distinguished service to the Judiciary for the last 14 years in a special session held at the Soroti High Court.
HW Margaret Aanyu, passed away on Sunday after a brief illness and currently The Principal Judge Dr Flavian Zeija, is leading a delegation of Judicial Officers at different court levels while the Permanent Secretary/Secretary to the Judiciary, Dr Pius Bigirimana, is leading the administration side.
Senior officials from the Executive, Parliament and members of the legal fraternity are attending the Mass.
