Speaker AMong Anita Never Declared Her Properties In UK, Deputy IGG Tells President Museveni.

The speaker of parliament Rt Hon. Anita Among is taking a big breath as the office of the Inspector General of Government informs the president that the speaker Among never declared her properties in the United Kingdom and has no information about the alleged houses in the UK.

Dr Patricia Achan Okiria the deputy Inspector General of Government wrote to the Minister of Internal Affairs on the 9th of May 2024 informing him that the Rt Hon Anita Among never reported that she had a house in the United Kingdom.

Rt Hon Anita Among has told me that she does not own a house or houses in the UK. The letter reads in part.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Gen Jeje Odong and the Attorney General are now rearing to write to the UK Authorities demanding the source of their information about the Ugandan Speaker owning houses in their country.

They cannot falsely accuse any of our people and we just let it ass. The message in the letter reads.

This is a result of the president's letter to the Attorney General and IGG demanding the legality of the parliamentary commission service award obtained by the former leader of the opposition Mathias Mpuuga and the three NRM commissioners which the president termed as greed.

However, the presidential press unit disregarded this letter.
