The Family of the Late Minister Engola Forgives the Killer.

The family of late State Minister for Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations, Col Rtd Charles Engola has forgiven Private Wilson Sabiiti who shot and killed their father.
During the State Funeral held at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds on Wednesday 10th May, 2023, Samuel Engola Jr. the son to the late led the family in the act of forgiveness.

"As the children of the late, we acknowledge that part of the family is working to seek justice for our father, we take this opportunity to forgive Private Sabiiti. May his family find rest."

Engola Jr added that, "Our father taught us to detest lies, theft, and witchcraft. As he kept resounding this message, indirectly we learnt to be truthful, honest, and prayerful."

Engola was shot on 02nd May 2023 Tuesday morning at his residence in Kyanja by one of his bodyguards Wilson Sabiiti who later took his own life. The former is expected to be buried on May 13 at his ancestral home in Awangi village, Iceme sub county Oyam District.
