The Prime Minister Advises Parliament against Demonizing Security Agencies

The Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja has advised against demonizing the security agencies. " Everyone should do their part in ensuring that as we enjoy our rights, we remain mindful of the rights of others, the Prime Minister added.

Hon Nabbanja made the remarks on Wednesday while presenting a statement by the government on the incidents involving security officials and Women Members of Parliament in the various parts of the country as directed by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament.

According to the Prime Minister, all the incidents are still being investigated to enable the Government to get a comprehensive picture of what transpired to inform response or action.

She however advised against demonizing the security agencies assuring the House that the identified errant security officers will always be apprehended.
