Two School Children Killed, Five Others Injured In Nansana Accident.

Two School children of Golden school have died on spot and five others injured in a motorvehicle accident that happened on Sunday morning at Kabulengwa village in Nansana Municipality in wakiso district.

"2 pupils have been confirmed dead and 5 others injured in a fatal crash today on the 24th November 2024 at around 09:30am at Kabulengwa village Nansana involving M/v UBA 104G Isuzu Elfu & Juvenile pedestrians of Golden P/S"  says Micheal Kananura.

Traffic mouthpiece adds that the  incident occurred when the said vehicle loaded with plastic chairs while climbing a hilly muram road lost control and moved backward rammed into juvenile pedestrians who were moving in an opposite direction. The incident resulted into instant death of 2 and injuring 5 others.

Micheal Kananura adds that the Victims have been rushed to st . Joseph's hospital Wakiso while the deceased conveyed to Mulago City Mortuary.

Vehicle towed to Lubigi police. Inquires at hand.

Kananura further revealed that investigations have since begin to establish the cause of the accident.
