UPDF Officer sets Ablaze House of Four Occupants, Steals Phones Goats.

Detectives attached to Luwero Police Station are  looking for a UPDF officer over allegations of burning a house that was being occupied by four people after accusing them of tress passing on the Land.

The wanted alleged UPDF officer has been identified as Alex Mutyaba who was armed with a sub machine gun "SMG", pistol and a panga. Asp TwiineAmazima Sam the police spokesperson for Savannah Region identified the victims who were the occupants of the burnt house as; Lubega Muhammad, Kyagera Daniel, Kiviri Joseph and Kato Aminsi. The spokesperson added that they victims were all rushed to Luwero hospital for treatment.

Police mouthpiece also said that preliminary information indicates that a group of thugs led by Mutyaba Alex claiming to be a UPDF officer and armed SMG, pistol and pangas went to the farm of Luwero district kadhi Sheikh Mulindwa and started beating up workers at the farm injuring them seriously claiming that they are trespassers on the land before setting ablaze houses where properties got burnt. The police mouthpiece added that 3  goats and phones were robbed.

Asp TwiineAmazima Sam also told us upon getting information from Lubega Muhammad who is a farm manager, police immediately responded and visited the scene of crime and documented it , search was conducted, statements were recorded from relevant witness, clothes suspected to be for assailants were recovered and exhibited by a team of investigators and Socco. Police mouthpiece said that so far seven suspects have have been arrested to help in investigations and a case of aggravated robbery and arson has been opened against the arrested suspects.
