We Shall Celebrate 38th NRM/A Day In Jinja Under The Theme, 'Building Uganda We All Cherish' Minister Babalanda

The government will commemorate the 38th National Resistance Movement/Army NRM/A victory day celebrations on the 26th of January, 2024.

Addressing press at Uganda Media Centre earlier on 22nd January 2024, the Minister of Presidency, Babirye Milly Babalanda informed the public about the 38th NRM/A Victory Day Anniversary which will be celebrated on Friday 26th January, 2024 under the theme; “Building a Country we all cherish”.

"It is a Day when our fellow Country men and women either dead or alive fought for a fundamental change through a protracted people’s struggle that lasted for five years under the Visionary leadership of His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni," the minister said.

H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to officiate at the National celebrations which will take place in Jinja City at St. John SSS Wakitaka Play Grounds in Jinja Northern Division on Friday 26th January, 2024.

Babalanda informed the public that arrangements have been made to serve all the invited guests with lunch and soft drinks (soda) and water on the D-day at the Venue. While on the other hand, NOC will make a provision for the general public to have a meal and drink which will be coordinated by Jinja City after the function.
