Another Museveni Minister arrested over Karamoja ironsheets scandal.

Detectives from Criminal investigations Directorate have finally arrested State Minister for karamoja Agnes Nandutu. Nandutu's arrest comes after police had threatened to arrest her on site.

While addressing Media yesterday, police spokesperson Fred Enanga said that Minister Nandutu had refused to appear before police adding that she even refused to communicate the reason for her not appearing.

Our sources told us that police arrested her in the morning and she is currently being grilled at CID headquarters.

The Anti-Corruption Court yesterday ordered Amos Lugolobi, the state minister for planning, to be sent to Luzira prison until April 20th. He is facing charges related to the alleged theft of iron sheets meant for vulnerable people in Karamoja.

Lugolobi is the second Cabinet minister to face charges in this case, after Karamoja Affairs minister Dr. Mary Goretti Kitutu, who was released from prison temporarily after spending a week there.
