Shock As Police Arrest 69 Trainees With Forged Documents.

Police in Masindi have arrested 69 suspects over forgery and uttering foalse documents at Kabalye Police Training School.

It's alleged that between the 13/07/2024 and 20/07/2024 the suspects went to report to Kabalye police training school for training as Probation Police Constable's and had moved with forged academic documents which they handed over to the police verification team from UPF H/R and they were found to be  forged and this prompted the commandant of the police training school kabalye to report the case  at CPS Masindi vide GEF 051/2024.

According to ACP Emitu Ezekiel Ebapu the Commandant Police Training School  Kabalye,

Case of forgery and uttering false documents   was registered at Masindi police station and inquiries commenced vide MSD GEF:051/2024.

A team of Officers from Masindi police station police comprising of Detectives  led by D/ASP OCHITTI SIMON PETER immediately booked out to PTS Kabalye for inquiries and Formal complaint was received from the commandant in respect to the allegations.He said.

The Certified copies of the alleged forged document retrieved and attached to the file and all the suspects handed over to CPS MASINDI for further investigations.

It was observed that the majority of the suspects confessed to having forged their documents from their Districts with intention to join police.Said commandant Emitu.
