Bus Driver Arrested Over Causing Accident That Claimed Life A Person

The Territorial traffic Police in Luwero district is actively investigating a cause of fatal accident that occured today Monday morning 29/01/2024 at 1148hrs at Kasala village near Perfect petrol station a long kampala-Gulu highway which claimed life of one person.

The deceased has not been identified yet. It  involved motor vehicles registration number UBF 003Y Isuzu Bus Yellow in colour driven by EROKU PHILLIP M/A 52Years an Itesot by tribe a resident of Kanyanya Kawempe Division in Wakiso district and motor cycle registration number UFS 028Z Bajaj Boxer red in colour driven by un identified rider who was knocked dead.

 
It's alleged that the driver of motor vehicle number UBF 003Y Isuzu Bus was coming from Gulu side heading to Kampala direction whereas the rider of motor cycle UFS 0282 was coming from Kampala side and branching from left to right hance the driver of the same bus knocked him dead. 

Savanah region police spokesperson Asp Twiinamazima sam told spyreports that,When police was notified they responded in time visited the scene and documented it by soco,  the driver of Bus was arrested, both vehicles were towed to Luwero Cps for further management, a sketch plan drawn and body was conveyed to Luwero Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination as More inquiries are still ongoing to ascertain the actual cause of this accident.
