City Businessman Charged Of Forging Court Order To Grab Land In Kampala.
The State House Anti corruption Unit in collaboration with Criminal Ivestigations Directorate
and the office of the director of public prosecutions have arraigned Mutabingwa Tonny before the Makindye Chief Magistrate's Court on charges of Fraudulent Procurement of a Certificate of Title and Forcible Entry.
It is alleged that the accused together with others still at large, between December 2022 and March 2023 at Kisugu-Makindye Division in Kampala City, forged court orders which they used to register themselves on a certificate of title for land comprised in Block 244 Plot 8328 at Kisugu.
The accused went ahead to mobilize graders and a group of persons armed with machetes to forcefully and violently cut down crops and trees.
They graded, sub-divided the land and later sold it off.
