Financial Crisis Hit  Police Force As Directors In Tears After Not Getting Money This Quarter

Police Directors are crying tears of crocodiles after a new released financial quarter budget has not included money to run their directorates for the entire four months off this quarter.

According to our police spies, all the police directorates have been affected by the financial constraints as their normal budgets have been cut almost by halfway.

"The police Force is in trouble if no supplementary budget can be given to it because there is no directorate that will perform its work 100% depending on this small money that has been released this quarter," says our police source.

Our spies Said that the only money that has been released in this quarter is just the office imprest which has also been reduced depending on what we have been getting in the last quarters.

Most of our officers have been getting allowances depending on their deployment which they have been using as up keep as they wait for their small salaries but in this quarter, nothing has been allocated to them across almost all the directorates,"adds our source.

Our spies added that even Shell has cut off fuel for all police officers because of the accumulated debts and I can assure you that the whole of last week, we have been fueling these cars with our own money. "My brother, the police Force is seated on a time bomb which might explode anytime if nothing is done to get a supplementary budget so that each directorate can do its work efficiently," says another police spy who asked not to be named.

They added that this quarter Money mostly favored the departments that are crucial and related to things that affect the human rights of either officers or suspects adding that like feeding and getting  medical care of suspects in the police custody country wide.

"Can you imagine, we have some directorates where it's officers get feeding allowances transport allowances among others because of the nature of the job they do and they have been getting those benefits in the previous budgets but this quarter nothing has been provided and you ask yourself, how are they going to be doing this job," wondered another police source. "Very soon, you will be seeing police bosses with police cars pulling money from their pockets to fuel these cars because fuel stations like Shell and Total have stopped supplying us fuel because their debts have accumulated and as a result, they have closed their pumps to police officers, adds another police source.

Efforts to get a comment from police spokesperson Fred Enanga were futile as he couldn't pick our calls.
