Former VP Ssekandi’s Son Dies in Lubaga Hospital

The former Vice President and former Speaker of Parliament, HE Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi has announced the death of his son.

In a statement issued on his social media X app, the VP Emeritus said, "I announce the sudden death of my son Alex Kayanja Ssekandi. Alex passed away yesterday from Lubaga Hospital where he had been admitted for the past two weeks." 

The cause of death is yet to be established but details shall be revealed in due course. "It's really a difficult time for me and my family. Rest in Peace my beloved son, I can't believe you're no more," the former VP mourned.
