Heartless Man Arrested over Killing Lover and Cutting Her Body into Pieces.

Lugazi Police are currently investigating the tragic murder of Agasiru Priscilla, a 19-year-old woman. The incident took place on July 11, 2023, around 8:30 PM in Luwayo village, Kawolo Division, Buikwe District. 

The victim's brother reported that  Agasiru's body was found slaughtered and dumped at the roadside by her boyfriend, with whom she had a child. Shockingly, the body was severed into two parts: the head and the lower portion, both discovered at the scene. The head exhibited multiple deep cuts.

"Police have made an arrest in connection with the crime; the suspect is identified as Wazemba Ekurius. While blue sandals were recovered from the scene, the murder weapon has yet to be found. Additionally, signs of a struggle were observed in the vicinity where the sandals were discovered. The victim's body has been transported to Kawolo for postmortem examination, and investigations are currently underway," SP Butoto Hellen
