Heartless Mother Kills Co-Wife's 7 Year Old Girl

Detectives attached to Katwe police station are holding a heartless mother who strangled and killed a 7 Year old girl belonging to her co wife. The heartless mother has been identified as Rita Birungi a resident of Masajja A Makindye division. Detectives identified the murdered girl as Keira Nakitto. 

According to our sources, arrested Ruth Birungi after strangling the young girl, she locked her body inside the house the whole day of Sunday evening. Detectives added that a one Chrish Kyomuhendo told them that his brother one Moses Atugonza called him saying that his wife Birungi called him saying that his daughter had fainted and that he should rush home and see the problem but when he reached salaam road near river Mayanja where there is a room for Atugonza, he found the door closed but upon knocking, Birungi opened the door and it's when she told him that the girl is already dead. 

However Kyomuhendo didn't agree that his daughter is dead and he decided to rush her to the hospital but only to be told that she had died long ago and that the hand had been broken. Upon receiving information that the young girl was dead, residents started looking for Birungi to do mob against her but Kyomuhendo told them that she might have gone to her parents and indeed police went and arrested her in Kibuli at her parents home.
