Katwe Police Boss Faces Arrest over Eating Suspect's Exhibit Money Worth shs 1.7M.  

Katwe police station officer in charge of operations ASP Julius  Gwaivu might soon be arrested and sent to prison over allegations of eating money worth shs 1.7M which was kept as an exhibit for the arrested witch doctor.

Julius Gwaivu's troubles came on Sunday when the arrested witch doctor who was given a police bond a week ago came with other people and camped at Katwe police station demanding her money that was given to Mr Gwaivu to keep as she entered into police custody. The arrested witch doctor who is demanding her money has been identified as Sarah Nabakabira. 

According to our sources at Katwe police, the suspect was first arrested last Sunday after blocking the Najjanankumbi traffic road because she was healing patients. "This woman was arrested last Sunday for blocking traffic at najjanankumbi because she was healing people using witchcrafts and she was brought here with money wrapped in a kavera,"says our source at Katwe police station. 

Our spy added that she was arrested on orders of Asp Gwaivu saying that all police officers who were at the police counter feared to touch on the lady's kavera until Mr Gwaivu came and took it. The lady was later released on police bond but she couldn't get Mr Gwaivu to give her the money.

More troubles for ASP Julius Gwaivu came yesterday when the woman stormed Katwe police station demanding her money which led the police officers at the main gate to fire Bullets in the air stopping them from  forcefully entering the station.

DPC Katwe police station SP Kamugira later intervened the situation and made a preventative arrest on the lady as her issues  of getting her money are being handled. Shocking Junior officers are also pinning ASP Julius Gwaivu for taking exhibit money from the  arrested witch doctor. The arrested woman has vowed not to leave the police station until she gets her money.
