Lady Accuses Deputy Speaker Tayebwa Of Abducting Her Husband And Grabbing Their Land.
The deputy speaker of parliament Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa has been accused of grabbing land and causing the arrest of Dr. Lubunde Edward Makwaiti.
The said land is located at Katabi Busiro in Wakiso district on block 439 plot 1847 in Abaita Ababiri village.
Lubunde Esther in a video posted on Twabwa's X page claims that her husband was arrested from his workplace in Entebbe and taken to yet known place.
''I have petitioned various offices for help but all in vain'' Lubunde claimed.
She accuses speaker Tayebwa of using agents Nkubito Allan and Nziza Patrick who she says have terrorised her family.
Earlier on I petitioned the land protection Unit which was headed by Edith Nakalema who also ordered the arrest of the duo but released them under unclear circumstances.
''I tried to hire a lawyer for legal assistance but was bribed with a promotion to the magistrate and now presiding over Mpigi magistrates court'' she said.
In response, Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa asked anyone to help him identify or put him in touch with this lady who claims that the speaker arrested her husband and took her land saying that he does not have any piece of land in Abaita or even ever met her.
The Speaker says that this Lady seems to be desperate and needs help.
