M7 Reappoints Dr Mukiza As UBOS Boss Amidst Census Progress.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who also doubles as the Chief Appointing Authority has reappointed Dr Chris Mukiza as Executive Director of Uganda Bureau of Statistics for another three year term in office.

According to state house sources, President Museveni has admired the hard work of Dr Chris Mukiza towards the coming population and National Housing Census.

" This man has put a lot of efforts to ensure the coming census goes well to compared to previous censuses, " Says an insider in state house adding that the President could not fail to extend his contract. 

Another source revealed to us that the President is happy with Dr Mukiza for having introduced the first ever digital Census in Uganda. Sources close to the President say, the big man from Rwakitura has been briefed on how Mukiza has ended corruption at the bureau.

 "We have been monitoring corruption at the bureau for along time. Billions were stolen on the last Census and investigations were conducted. But with Mukiza as the ED, corruption seems to have ended," Says another state house investigator.

"The reappointment is a a testament of faith, confidence and support from the President, matia Kasaija Finance Minister and the board of UBOS have bestowed upon you," Reads congratulatory messages.

"We have confidence that In the next years of your leadership will place UBOS of world National statistics," Reads another message. Dr Mukiza joined UBOS way back in 2009 and served as Director Macroeconomic statistics.

He replaced Dr Ben Paul Mungyereza who resigned in 2018 due to corruption which had eaten the Bureau and too much pressure from mafias.
