Male Casual Worker Hacks Fellow Female Worker To Death Over Rejecting To Love Him

Police in Mukono District have recorded a case of attempted Murder that occurred at St. Thereza Namilyango Girls Primary School in Goma Division, Mukono District where casual male worker attacked His fellow female worker in a garden with a panga.

The victim, Namwanje Moureen, a 28-year-old casual worker at the school, was attacked by Sebakaki Henry, a 30-year-old casual worker at the same school.

The suspect, allegedly armed with a panga, assaulted the victim in the school garden, leaving her with severe injuries.

Eyewitnesses reported that the suspect had been complaining that the victim had rejected him despite his financial support.

 After the attack, the suspect attempted to take his own life by cutting his neck with the same panga. Responding to the alarm, residents apprehended the suspect in a nearby swamp and handed him over to the police.

 The victim was rushed to Mukono General Hospital and later referred to Mulago Hospital for further treatment.

Unfortunately, the suspect was pronounced dead at Mukono General Hospital at around 12:00 pm. A post-mortem examination will be conducted at Mulago City Mortuary.

SSP Patrick Onyango the police spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan area confirmed the incident noting that police have recovered the panga used in the attack, recorded statements from witnesses, and registered a case of attempted murder and suicide at Seeta Police Station.
