Minister Babalanda Orders Removal Of RDC Hawa Ndege From Buikwe

The Minister For Presidency Hon Milly Babalanda has written to the secretary Office of the President and ordered for Immediate transfer of Hajat Hawa Namugenyi Ndege from the office of Resident District Commissioner [RDC] for Buikwe District following a hot exchange of words with the State Minister in the Vice President's Office Hon. Dian Mutasingwa over lands matters.

 Minister Babalanda says in his letter dated July 01 2024, that the scuffle caused much public debate were the Office of the resident was deeply Discredited.

The Minister thus guided that, the RDC Hawa Ndege be recalled to the headquarters and wait for redeployment.

She also guided that a detailed report be produced on the same issue as she had earlier guided.

She ordered the Deputy RDC of Buikwe to take charge of the former RDC for the district as they wait for the final decision from The president on the same matter.

According to sources from Buikwe district, Minister Mutasingwa found the RDC Ndege presiding over illegal eviction of residents at Naava Cell in Njeru Municipality Buikwe district.
Its also alleged that RDC Ndege mobilized a team of security personnel comprising Army and Police officers and escorted a group of self-claimed bailiffs who are said to be unregistered to demolish the house of one Simon Herbert Aliddeki.

Aliddeki and his sister Stella Nambi petitioned the High Court in Fort Portal challenging the unfair distribution of properties of their late father Simon Peter Kasikisa by tHeir siblings from another mother.
