Over Speeding Claimed the Life City Tycoon Aponye, Police Speaks Out.

Police has attributed the cause of accident that claimed the life of City tycoon Aponye as over speeding by the driver of the deceased. Mr Apollo Nyegamehe commonly as Aponye died last night in an accident that happened on Ntungamo kabale Rd at exactly itojo town. According to Rwizi region police spokesperson SP Samson Kasasira, motorvehicle reg number UBF 300Z Land cruiser that was heading to kabale side rammed into a stationary motorvehicle UAZ 767D Fuso truck loaded with Irish potatoes that had got a mechanical problem alongside the road in Itojo along the Ntungamo Mbarara road which claimed the life of Mr Apollo Nyegamehe commonly known as Aponye. Kasasira added that Aponye's body was taken to Itojo hospital mortuary and the rest of the occumpants were rushed to Mbarara referral hospital with injuries for treatment. Police also named the injured victims as Karamazi Joshua a male adult and Buyinza Moses a male adult and who was driving Aponye's car. "The cause of accident was due to over speeding by the driver of motor vehicle UBF 300Z Land cruiser,"says Rwizi region police spokesperson SP Samson Kasasira. Kasasira adds that Aponye's car has been towed to police yard and the Fuso UAZ 767D is pending towing due to the heavy load it's carrying.
