Passport Issuance on Halt due to Breakdown of Services at Kyambogo

The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control under the Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced the temporary breakdown of services at the passport collection office in Kyambogo.

In a notice to the public, the statement reads, "Due to a damaged fibre optic cable that has adversely affected our system, we are unable to issue passports at our Passport Issuance Office in Kyambogo (former Face Technologies).

The notice however goes on to say that, "We are working around the clock with the relevant agencies to ensure restoration of normal  service at the earliest.
