Police Intercepts Body Parts Of Unidentified Person Cut Into Pieces And Packed Into Bags

Detectives from Kawempe Police have commenced  investigating a case of suspected murder where body parts of an unidentified person were recovered at Namere zone, Kanyanya, Kawempe division Kampala district.
It was on the 26/12/23 at around 03:00pm when information of suspected murder was received.
Police visited the scene which was well examined and documented as statements were recorded from relevant witnesses. 
Several exhibits recovered that is the head of unknown person parked together with arms in a polythen bag blue in colour, human legs parked in a blue polythene bag, a body minus legs arms and head was parked in checked bag with blue, pink and white color, a pair of blue gloves with suspected blood stain parked in a black cavera, with suspected blood stains, handkerchief light green in colour was also found at the scene, grey towel with suspected blood stains. The body parts were conveyed to mulago city mortuary for postmortem.
According to SSP Patrick Onyango the PRO KMP, inquiries are still at hand but it's suspected that the deceased was murdered from elsewhere and the body was dumped there.
