Police Issues Traffic Guidelines ahead of Tomorrow's Masaza Cup Tournament in Wankulukuku Stadium.

Roads will be closed tomorrow the 24/06/23, during the Masaza Cup tournament between Busiro the host and Mawokota at Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

SSP Patrick Onyango the PRO KMP said, "The match will attract many jubilant fans.
His Highness Ronald M. Mutebi II the Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom will be the chief guest."

Traffic Police will manage and guide traffic before, during and after the match with aim of ensuring safety of the road users.
The following guidelines have been put in place. 
1. There will be normal traffic flow along Masaka-Kampala highway.
2. Traffic from Kabusu traffic lights along Wankulukuku Road will be diverted at Kiyimba Road to Mutundwe .
3. Traffic from Entebbe Road  along Nyanama Road will be diverted to Mutundwe Road at Kitebi Traffic lights and will access Wankulukuku Road via Kiyimba Road.
4. There will be cut off at Wankulukuku-Kasibante Road, Kiyimba-Wankulukuku, Wamala-Suuna Road, Kasibante- Suuna Road and at Kitebi traffic lights.
5. Lorries and buses carrying fans will park at World Food Programme parking opposite the stadium and will access the parking through Wankulukuku Road as directed by Traffic Officers.
6. Other motor vehicles will park at Kitebi Primary School and will access the parking via Kitebi traffic lights.
7. VVIPs and VIPs will park behind the stadium as will be directed by traffic police.
8. Parking along the road or any un designated parking areas at Wankulukuku is prohibited. Motor vehicles abandoned or parked along the road will be towed to the nearest police station at the owners cost and inconvenience.
9. Motor cycles are not allowed beyond the cut off points.
The general public is advised to cooperate with Traffic Police to avoid inconveniences.
