Police Manhunts Suspected Murderer

The territorial Police in Mukono has actively put up a serious manhunt for a one Wabembasha Enock, a 25-year-old resident of Nabutu Zone, Seeta ward, Goma Division in Mukono District for the alleged murder by strangling of his girlfriend, one Hajat Namboozo Fatuma, aged 28, resident of Bulijo village, Kyampisi parish, Nagalama Sub- County in Mukono District on the night of 1.07.2023.

It is reported that on that fateful day, the victim visited the boyfriend that evening, allegedly had a misunderstanding which led to a quarrel and later her demise. Her body was found in the rented room, early morning.

According to Fred Enanga the Police mouthpiece, "the suspect called the parents of the deceased, used her phone and told them to pick the dead body of their daughter foe burial. And that he didn’t regret having killed her."
