Properties Worth Billions Burned as Fire Engulfs Plastic Bag Manufacturing Company, Five Maize Stores.

Detectives from Kira Division have launched investigations into a fire outbreak that occurred early this morning at Bulenga Nakuwadde in Wakiso District causing loss of property worth Billions of money.

According to reports, at approximately 4 am, electricity wires sparked in the area, igniting a fire that swiftly spread to five maize stores and a plastic bag manufacturing company. The Fire Prevention and Rescue team were promptly alerted and responded swiftly, successfully containing and extinguishing the fire.

"While investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the fire outbreak, initial findings suggest that the businesses affected have incurred significant losses, estimated to be worth billions of shillings. Fortunately, no injuries or loss of life have been reported," said ASP Luke Owoyesigyire Deputy Public Relations Officer Kampala Metropolitan Police.
