RTD Col Besigye Wants Investigations Done Over Burning Of Uganda House In Kenya.

Former Forum For Democratic Change President Rtd Col Dr Kiiza Besigye has urges government to carryout investigations on the attack of Uganda House in Kenya by the protestors.

"Yes, the burning of the just renovated Uganda House in Nairobi calls for a CREDIBLE investigation. Questions should be asked: WHY Uganda House? Who benefits from the burning? Does this attract/ justify Ug govt response to Kenyan protests? Any audit queries"? Posted Dr Besigy on his social media account. 

The Uganda house was slated for reopening on Friday 28th June 2024 after being renovated.

The Foreign Affairs ministry in Uganda has today released a statement condemning the attack on the property  by the protestors which results into loss of lives and destructions of structures. 

Permanent Secretary Vincent Bagiire Waiswa in the statement however commended the Nairobi Fire Department for putting out fire.
