Russian Government Eulogies with Uganda over ADF Kasese Massacre
The Federation Council of the Federal Russian Assembly of the Russian Federation has sent its heartfelt condolences in the aftermath of the tragic loss of young innocent children in Kasese, Uganda.
"It is with deep sadness and pain that the members of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation have learned about the terrorist attack on the school in Mpondwe," Rt Hon Valentina Matviyenko, the chairperson of the Federation said.
"In this difficult hour, I send words of support to you and all Ugandan citizens, as well as my deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims," she added.
The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Annet Among, took to social media to express her deep gratitude to specifically acknowledged the leadership of the Right Honorable Valentina Matviyenko, who heads the Federation Council.
In a tweet, Among expressed being "deeply touched" by the support and solidarity shown by the Russian Federation Council during such a time of immense sorrow. She highlighted that their thoughtful words were enormously comforting to the grieving Ugandan nation.
