School Children Poisoned, Rushed to Hospital

Approximately 150 students from Nakanyonyi Senior Secondary School in Nagalama, Mukono District, have been evacuated to the hospital due to suspected food poisoning. 

The incident prompted authorities to take samples of the food consumed by the students to the Government Analytical Laboratory in Kampala for testing.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the deputy spokesperson of Kampala Metropolitan Police has reported that investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the food poisoning.
