Security Bursts Into Alleged Plans By Bobiwine, Besigye And Mugisha Muntu To Overthrow President Museveni's Government.

The Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) has released an inelligence report indicating the coordinated plot to overthrow the government of Uganda.

According to he report, the efforts are orchestrated by elements within the opposition parties , select government officials, governments and LGBTQ groups in Europe.

It also potrays details of these efforts including key actors, sources of funding and operation tactics intented to destabilize the state under the guise of anti-corruption protests

On february 5th 2024, a critical meeting took place involving prominent opposition leaders, Robert Kyagulanyi of National Unity Platform (NUP), Kiiza Besigye FDC andMugisha Muntu of Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) and reached a consensus on the need work together to destabilize the current government. reads part of the report.

Their strategy revolves around inciting chaos and unrest, primarily through orchestrated protests against alleged corruption.

However this did  not go well with FDC Dr Kiiza Besigye who noted that Schemes of Uganda's lucrative “Intelligence Industy” are very predictable!.

''Create a big plot to overthrow Mr Museveni from power using known and/or suspected opponents. Then, demand urgent operation budget; media campaign; diplomatic activity…'' writes Besigye on his official X handle.

The report however gives recommandations in order to overcome the threat.
