Two Die On Spot, 12 Critically Injured In Nakasongora Accident.

The traffic Police in Nakasongola district is actively investigating a case of fatal accident that occured yesterday Tuesday at approximately 1808/c at Bujaabe village Nakitoma subcounty in Nakasongola district that claimed lives of two and injured twelve people.

 One male adult yet to be identified, a driver of Isuzu Elf died on spot and a young child who was in Toyota Hiance died on arrival to Kyiryandongo Hospital.

 All the deceased and injured not yet identified as of now.

 This accident involved motor vehicles registration number UBP 557B Isuzu Elf White in colour whose driver died on spot,

UBD 215R Isuzu Bus of Nile star Company and UBR 783N Toyota Hiance white in colour.

It is further alleged that the Bus Nile star was following Toyota Hiance heading to Gulu side suddenly the front tyre of the Bus came out/off hit the Toyota Hiance, lost control and collided with Isuzu Elf head on which was coming to Kampala hence killing two and injuring other Twelve passengers.

 ASP Twiineamazina Sam the Savannah region police spokesperson confirmed the accident adding that all victims were rushed to Kyinyogoga Hospital for treatment and the deceased were conveyed to Kyinyogoga mortuary for postmortem examination and all Vehicles were towed to Nakitoma police station pending IOV inspection.
