Traffic Police Diverts Kampala -Jinja Highway Motorists Over Road Construction.

A section of Mabira forest Kampala-Jinja Highway Diversion is currently under construction which has forced diversion of traffic to Kisoga road.

Starting tomorrow at 6:00 am, there has been traffic diversion at the Mabira section along the Kampala-Jinja highway. 

Micheal Kananura the traffic police spokesperson noted that, This diversion is necessary to facilitate road works along this section. 

"All Heavy Trucks Will be diverted at Nile Bridge towards Nyenga-Kisoga up to Wantoni in Mukono".He said.

 Kampala to Jinja, Motorists now diverted at Wantoni in Mukono to Kisoga through Nyenga to Jinja.

Police along with a team from UNRA are in place to guide traffic movement and ensure the smooth execution of the road works.

 "We appeal to all motorists to adhere to traffic officers' directives, exercise utmost discipline & patience during the road works". Noted Kananura.
