UBOS Releases Material For Uganda Census 2024

The Uganda Bureau of statistics (UBOS) has today dispatched census materials the will be used by enumerator during the census exercise that is scheduled to begin on 10th May 2024.

 "These items is part of the preliminary actions that UBOS is carrying out to guarantee a seamless execution of the Uganda census 2024, which is just 11 days away".Said the UBOS Boss Dr Chris Mukiiza. 

The function was presided over by the state minister of finance in charge of planning, Hon. Amos Lugoloobi who officially flaggedoff the enumeration materials, which included Tabs, T-shirts, bags, and enumeration aprons, among others.

Dr. Mukiza said thatb Travelers,fishermen,bus travelers, truck drivers and people who live and work in the diaspora will be catered for.

The ED explained that information concerning Ugandans who are in the Diaspora wiil be obtained from people in the homes they hail from within Uganda.

He asked every Ugandan to encourage each other to embrace the census and participate while responding to all enumerators' questions as truthful as they can.
