Uganda Aids Commission Launches 'Wear The Red Ribbon Campaign'

The Uganda Aids Commission (UAC)has Launched a new campaign dubbed Wear the red ribbon aimed at sowing solidarity to those affected with the virus.

The new was officially launched by the  Chairperson of the UAC Board, Dr. Ruth Senyonyi at Uganda Media centre in Kampala noting that it's main purpose is to encourage Ugandans to continue fighting towards ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.

The campaign also  aims to combat misinformation, promote testing, and reduce stigma to help Uganda achieve its goal of ending AIDS by 2030.

The campaign ahead of the upcoming National HIV and AIDS Symposium 2024, said Ag. Director General UAC, Dr. Vincent Bagambe
