Woman Disappears on the Way to Her Bridal Make up.

Police in Kampala are on the lookout for a 24-year-old woman who vanished during preparations for her wedding. The missing woman, Bushura Najjuko, was on her way to a bridal makeup shop in Nakivubo, Kampala, for henna treatment when she disappeared on March 10, 2023, at 9am. Her mother, Aisha Nalukenge, reported her disappearance to the police, and Najjuko, who resides in Katereke Cell in Kyengera Town Council, Wakiso District, has yet to be located.

The deputy spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan police, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, stated to journalists on Monday evening that Najjuko, who disappeared during her wedding preparations, had reportedly handed over her changing dresses to a boda-boda rider named Ali Kivumbi while at Nakivubo. She informed him that she would follow later but never showed up. According to ASP Owoyesigyire, police have been unsuccessful in their efforts to locate Najjuko thus far.

The owner of the makeup shop where she was headed confirmed that they parted ways at the New Taxi Park since they were heading in different directions, as per ASP Owoyesigyire.

ASP Luke Owoyesigyire stated that Bushura Najjuko was engaged to Faruk Mugalu, a resident of Kagoma, and investigations are still ongoing. He urged anyone with any information about Najjuko's whereabouts to contact the nearest police station and appealed to the public to assist in any way possible to ensure her safe return to her family.
