Woman Who Slapped Traffic Officer On Duty Remanded To Luzira Prison

Nakawa Court in Kampala charged and remanded to Luzira prison Mercy Timbitwire for slapping a police officer on duty.

She was charged with several counts that include robbery of two mobile phoned and EPS machine valued at shs 14m.

She will come back in court on 4th November. Timbitwire last Friday while coming from.Nakawa side was stopped by a traffic officer for talking on phone while driving but she refused to stop.

 The officer followed her up to Lugogo where she was blocked. Fuming Timbitwire got out of her land cruiser and started slapping officer and destroying his work gadgets.

 She was captured on video that was shared on social media. She was later arrested and detained at Jinja Road police. Her mother who came to see her cursed while at police and promised not to follow her.
